How old are you?

22, but I'm hoping to be 23 by next year

Do you have a photography degree? How did you learn?

Nope! Funny enough, I actually have a degree in Physiology/Neuroscience. I initially wanted to be a doctor, but the more medical research and shadowing I did, the more I realized that I was very unhappy with this as a career and needed to find something else. The more I got into photo/video, the more I realized that I absolutely love it and decided to make a career out of it.

I learned my skills almost entirely by just messing around with a camera and editing software, along with some help from youtube tutorials. Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to intern with Orijin Media in Jackson, which also helped me gain some knowledge.

How long have you been shooting?

I picked up a DSLR camera for the first time just under 2 years ago. Can't believe I went 19 years of my life without knowing about this magical device

How do you afford to travel so much?

Most of my travels are paid for by tourism boards or brands I work with on trips. If there's a place that I really want to see, I still go and can afford it through residual income through my licensing deals and through making videos for businesses. After I've filmed a project, I can do the rest from anywhere in the world as long as there's WiFi, so this is perfect. I also live like an absolute bum on trips, which reduces costs. I almost exclusively camp or couchsurf and eat the cheapest food available.

How do I do what you're doing?

This question assumes that I know what I'm doing, which definitely isn't true. I'd say just start snapping some sizzlers and good things will follow.

What are your other hobbies?

Favorite places you've ever been?

Distance running, skiing, swimming, cliff jumping, kayaking, unicycling, juggling fire. The usual.

This list changes all the time, but here are my favorites so far.

1. Wind River Range (I'll probably have to see Heaven before this one changes)

2. Grand Tetons

3. Pula, Croatia

4. Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland

5. Cannon Beach, Oregon

6. Mount Kilimanjaro

7. Tulum, Mexico

8. Jurassic Coast, England

9. Italian Dolomites
